The Chicago Bulls succumbed to a narrow 129-124 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center on Friday night. It was a closely contested affair that either team could have won, but it was the home side that came on top of the visitors by the end of the fourth quarter. However, it did not end as a night to forget for Bulls star DeMar DeRozan.

DeMar DeRozan ended the game as the joint top scorer amongst all the players on the court along with the Spurs’ Keldon Johnson, with a tally of 33 points. The Bulls guard also had an assist and a rebound against his former side, and completed 11 of his 20 field goals – out of which one was special, as it helped him write his name down in the history books.

By doing so, DeRozan became the 50th player in the history of the NBA to achieve the feat, writing his name alongside some absolute greats of the game as we know it – a glorious achievement for any player to have in their CV.
