One of the most awaited events of the season was held today as the NBA All-Star Game 2022 was played in Cleveland, Ohio, the USA
During the game, the first-time winner of the inaugural Kobe and Gigi Bryant WNBA Advocacy Award was announced.
Chris Paul became The first recipient of the Kobe and Gigi Bryant @WNBA Advocacy Award.
This award is dedicated to the person whose contributions went above and beyond to help the advancement of girls and women’s basketball, and support for the WNBA.
Chris Paul, received the award Sunday night. CP3 who is the point guard of the Phoenix Suns was presented the award by Vanessa Bryant and the WNBA President, Cathy Engelbert.

Cathy Engelbert believed that Chris Paul was the deserving winner of the award and said, “I have seen first-hand Chris’ appreciation of the WNBA and the game at every level for women and girls, especially in Phoenix and North Carolina, and his ardent support of our game strongly reflects the legacy of Kobe and Gigi.”

Chirs Paul has been known as a strong supporter of women’s basketball and the WNBA for a long time.
He attended the WNBA games regularly and used public status to highlight the accomplishments of women in the sport.
He regularly showed support for youth girls’ games, which is why he was the deserving winner of this award.
CP3 has always showed love to everyone around him and has always used his fame to support the ones in need and this award just describes what he really is and will be rembered as one of the all time greats of this game.
