A confused Kevin Durant could not understand the ‘double standard’ comparisons with two NBA legends.

Kevin Durant is often considered one of the best players in the league right now. The Brooklyn Nets superstar is usually given his flowers as one of the top forwards and overall players in the NBA at the moment, however, his argument as one of the best players in the history of the NBA is often countered by his detractors – something that infuriates KD.

Having won two Championships and two MVP awards in a decorated career where he has turned out for franchises such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors, and the Nets, Durant has often staked his claim that he should be placed alongside greats of the game such Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant – however, it is often not reciprocated.

Durant is notorious for being outspoken and holds a reputation for confronting his critics on social media the first time of asking, and he added yet another instance to his ever-growing CV of countering his detractors when he addressed yet another one of his criticisms online.

It was yet another day of the ever present conversation about KD not being placed on a similar pedestal as greats of the game when a fan took Durant’s side – and asked that why is Durant held to standards put aloft by the likes of Jordan and Bryant when he is often considered being just another All-Star player? Durant certainly addressed the issue by himself.

What did Durant have to say about the question?

Durant took to his Twitter to add his thoughts on the question.

When the fan asked why is Durant held to all-time standards when he is usually just considered to be one great of his time, Durant took to his Twitter to show his approval.

Quoting the tweet in question, Durant wrote “I be confused too”. The Easy Money Sniper’s tweet went viral in no time – sparking an even more intense debate.
