Match Preview: Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors

The Dallas Mavericks will face the Golden State Warriors on 18th May 2022, in what will be the first match of the Western Conference Finals.

The Mavs are coming into this matchup after shocking the world, as they knocked out the Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round, and proved that they are more than capable of defeating any team in the playoffs.

On the other hand, the Warriors are coming into the matchup after taking care of the Grizzlies in 6 games to qualify for their 1st WCF since the 2019 season. Their squad is healthy and they’re the favorites to win it all this year.

  • Luka Doncic – Mavs

Everyone saw what Luka is capable of in the playoffs during the series against the Suns. His playoffs stats are among the best of the game, and once again he’ll be the key to the chances of Dallas against the Warriors.

  • Stephen Curry – Warriors

Even though the Warriors have played quite well throughout the playoffs, we haven’t seen Steph Curry at his best yet. He needs to turn his form up, as he might need to play well to get past Dallas.

The Warriors will be playing at home, which is why they’ll be the favorites to win this match and go 1-0 up in the series, but Luka can produce some madness that could change the result.

  • Prediction: Golden State Warriors to win the game.
