Damian Lillard calls out Patrick Beverley in the latest add-on to their beef

Patrick Beverley is known to frustrate his opponents, for which he has got beef with multiple players in the NBA. One of which is Portland Trail Blazers star, Damian Lillard. While the Los Angeles Lakers overcame a 25-point deficit to win the game by 9 points on the road, Beverley once again was on the nerves of Lillard the entire time in the contest.

In a game where Damian Lillard managed to drop a double-double with 24 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds, Lillard wasn’t at his best from the field or the 3-point line. The marquee scorer only made 3 of his 13 shots from behind the arc, courtesy to Beverley’s constant pressure.

When Beverley was applauded for his work on Lillard during the course of the entire game, the veteran guard did not shy away from collecting the deserved praise, “If he would have cooked me you would have said, ‘I couldn’t guard him.’ But he misses a couple of shots and it’s a ‘slow shooting night.’ ‘Good job on Dame’ sounds better.”

When Damian Lillard got to know about the response of his companion, he did not himself back either as he responded by saying, “Con man. Flip from above the rim.”

These two have been trading shots for a while now, as it all started during the 2020 NBA Bubble, where Lillard starred in a controversial moment with Paul George and Patrick Beverley.
