Damian Lillard signed a huge contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, as the franchise continues to build around him.

Damian Lillard, a star point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers, has agreed to a two-year, $122 million contract deal, keeping him with the team through the 2026–2027 campaign.

In Las Vegas, Damian Lillard is anticipated to sign his contract on Saturday. The two-year-old contract Lillard is currently under carries him through the 2024–25 campaign. The six-time All-Star has already earned $195 million in the last ten years as the franchise player, and the additional funds will bring his total earnings with the organization to more than $450 million.

Before requiring stomach surgery in mid-January to address an injury he had been managing for years, he played in 29 games the previous season. Lillard struggled with the injury, averaging 24 points and 7.3 assists while shooting a career-low 40 percent.
