LeBron James has been nothing less than legendary for Darvin Ham’s Los Angeles Lakers over the past couple of months. This was acknowledged by Derek Fisher who had nothing but applause for the four-time NBA Champion and MVP.
As James led the Lakers to an incredible win over the unpredictable Houston Rockets, Fish detailed upon how the King has kept all negative narratives out of his mind only to be able to lead his team with full strength and focus in every successive encounter.
Fisher said in a conversation with Spectrum SportsNets’ Allie Clifton, “Year 20, age 38, you should not have to worry about getting up out of the bed in the morning, driving to shootaround and driving back and then driving to Crypto. That probably factors into it maybe a little for LeBron.
The former LA Lakers player added, “But the bigger question is just, it speaks to his mental approach to the game. Your body is always going to tell you certain things, right? Fatigue, I’m sore, I’m hurting. But your mind is really what’s in control. LeBron James has really mastered the ability to stay focused and stay in the moment, be present and bring his best performance when the Lakers need it the most.”
Not just against the Rockets where Bron dropped 48 points, but in general he bas the lone warrior point for Purple and Gold. That being said, will he be able to finally clinch the playoffs berth for Lakers at clutch time? Remains to be seen.
