Know more about NBA star James Harden’s appearance in Knock at the Cabin.
Acclaimed director M. Night Shyamalan is widely known for his love of basketball and his hometown Philadelphia.
So, it makes complete sense that he teamed up with Philly basketball star James Harden to promote his new thriller film called ‘Knock at the Cabin.’
In the crossover that no one expected, M. Night Shyamalan sits down with Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden for a relaxing cabin getaway. However, they both are interrupted soon by a knock at the cabin door.
Much to Harden’s shock, Sixers head coach, Doc Rivers is seen standing at the door and he says to Harden, “James, you wanna see a horror movie? I’ll show you one at practice!”
Afterward, Doc Rivers settles himself between Harden and Shyamalan and they all watch a movie together.

Shyamalan’s latest thriller, ‘Knock at the Cabin’ is based on the award-winning 2018 novel, ‘The Cabin at the End of the World’ by Paul Tremblay.
The film revolves around a family of three — Eric (Jonathan Groff), Andrew (Ben Aldridge), and Wen (newcomer Kristen Cui). This family of three are forcibly taken hostage by a group of seemingly religious zealots who claims that the world is about to end.
The leader of these kidnappers, Leonard (Dave Bautista), further states that if the kidnapped family does not willingly sacrifice one of their own, humankind will cease to exist. Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old), Abby Quinn (Little Women), and Rupert Grint (Servant) take on the roles of Leonard’s fellow accomplices of the apocalypse.
Just like majority of Shyamalan’s other movies, “Knock at the Cabin” was filmed in the greater Philadelphia area and South Jersey. Also, most of the film’s principal photography is done in Burlington and Tabernacle in New Jersey’s eerie Pine Barrens. Some scenes also were also shot at the Evergreen Dairy Bar in Southampton Township.
“Knock at the Cabin” will hit theaters on February 3, 2023.
