HomeSports NewsDonovan Mitchell among 4 stars ejected after Jazz vs Pacers tussle

Donovan Mitchell got himself ejected along with three others during Indiana Pacers vs. Utah Jazz

A normal game of NBA between Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz turned rather ugly in the fourth quarter. A tussle between Rudy Gobert and Myles Turner in the fourth quarter eventually led to four players being ejected in total. The initial part of the tussle was not broadcasted as the cameras covered the game which moved to the other end.

Take a look at the tussle below:

Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles of the Utah Jazz and Turner from the Pacers got ejected. An unnecessary altercation led to Jazz loosing their three main guys which eventually cost them the game.

As seen in the clip, the security played a vital role in separating the players otherwise things could’ve gotten really ugly. As per reports, the head coach of Jazz, Quinn Snyder also had to be controlled by the security.

What did Donovan Mitchell say after the game?

Mitchell was left unimpressed by the officiating that took place during the game. After the game the Jazz player let his frustrations out and talked about how the referees could’ve controlled it in the beginning of the game.

“The referees are allowing this to get out of hand. At some point it鈥檚 continuing to build. You have to draw the line, otherwise things are going to get out of hand. The officiating is inconsistent and there鈥檚 built up frustration.”

As per Mitchell the referees should’ve intervened earlier which could’ve helped the players to not get up to this point. He certainly feels like an early breakage to their smack talk during the game could’ve restrained this situation from prevailing later in the fourth quarter. However, the referees can only do so much and the players should also know where to draw the line.
