Draymond Green reacts to the news of Damian Lillard opting for the surgery related to his abdominal issue
Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors are part of the Western Conference, which has a huge rivalry between their teams and players on the court. Yet, these (in that case all) professional athletes have huge respect and love for each other. Draymond Green just had portraited such incidence in his reel.
As per Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports, Damian Lillard has decided to go for abdominal surgery to address the long lingering issue. Draymond Green was quick to react positively to the news. He wished Damian luck and good health.
Lillard and Green played together for the US national team as part of the Gold Medal winning team. It is said that Lillard aggravated his abdominal injury last summer only while playing in the Olympics. He continued playing through pain and the effect of the issue affected his current NBA season form. As per Draymond’s reel, He had suggested Damian Lillard opt for surgery in summer only.
Now that Lillard is going for surgery, which will keep him out of action for at least 4 weeks, the Blazers need to focus on their bizarre season so far.
Draymond Green to miss Milwaukee Bucks game
Draymond Green will sit out during the Warriors’ game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Green experienced tightness in his left calf during the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He missed the game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and is expected to sit out for a few more games, which includes the Bucks and Chicago Bulls.
The Warriors will be looking forward to his return.
