NBA legend LeBron James made a huge statement on his son Bronny as a video of his highlights went viral on social media.
Bronny James continues to catch the eyeballs of the basketball community in America. The eldest son of basketball superstar and one of the all-time greats of the game LeBron James is now 18, and is considered one of the top talents in his age division – and he proved his mettle and promise yet again with his latest display for the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers.
The 18-year point guard who stands at 6 feet and 3 inches and will be eligible to take part in the NBA Draft in 2024, was in action for his high school team against Columbus – and starred as he racked up an incredible performance that went viral on social media. Bronny looked like a spitting image of his father, racking up rebounds and showing impeccable shooting for his age.
The performance drew a lot of praise from all over the NBA community – but none more so than the praise it got from his father and legendary basketball player LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar took to his Twitter to give his thoughts on his son’s performance, and it is safe to say that he was impressed to say the least.
Quoting the video, LeBron tweeted: “He’s SIMPLY a GREAT ALL-AROUND PLAYER but most importantly The GREATEST KID EVER!!! Oh and he’s a PRO too!” LeBron’s tweet got plenty of reactions, as the magnitude of the statement gave many fans a hint of what they can expect from the young player about to be drafted into the NBA next year.
LeBron has often expressed his desire to play with his son before he hangs his boots up, and it will not be a surprise to see the father and son take to the court in the same team next year – creating further history and carrying the legacy of the James name forward.
