Fan breaks down in tears after this special moment from Ja Morant

Ja Morant’s wholesome gesture had NBA fans in awe. The 2020 Rookie of the Year felt his fans should get the respect they give to him.

Ja took Memphis Grizzlies towards victory with the help of Tyus Jones. Morant added 35 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists on the board, Tyus also added his 18 points with 6 rebounds and 8 assists. They took a close game to a game won by 10 points.

After the game, Ja Morant saw one of his young fans holding a sign that said, “Ready to JAM out in my JA 1’s #summer2023.” The Grizzlies star picked up his pink JA 1 Nike kicks are placed it in the hands of the young fan. The fan could not control his emotions as he was a child whose wish was to see his idol Ja, up-close and personal.

9-year-old Zander Carr would not believe his eyes that Ja was giving him his kicks. He was full of tears but his mom saved the date. As can be seen, Zander’s mother asked Ja Morant to take a picture with her child as this would be above all memories in their lifetime.

Ja Morant said after the game, “It leaves you speechless when you see somebody that big of a fan of you to bust out & cry. It was even more crazy to see his Mom crying. I know that touched both of their hearts and something they’ll never forget.”

Memphis Grizzlies are now standing at the 2nd spot in the Western Conference. Winning 23 of their first 36 games of the 2022-23 season. Their star and 2022’s Most Improved Player is averaging 27.2 points per game with 6.2 rebounds and 8 assists.
