Recently, on August 26, James Harden turned 33 and was spotted partying on a yacht – fans were unsure if the cake Harden threw was legit
James Harden is known as a party freak and he showed it yet again. This time, he threw his birthday cake in the ocean amid his birthday bash.
The viral video on Twitter has invited mixed reactions from the fans as some of them were surprised to know why he would throw away his own birthday cake without having a single bite of it while some of them were saying that the cake was fake.
Fans think the cake was fake as it showed no movement as Harden threw it in the water. James is taking his diet very seriously as the new NBA season is approaching. Yet fans are not sure if the cake was legit as it seemed very light and rigid when James threw it off the yacht window.
James Harden turned 33 recently
With this birthday, Harden is now 33. He has accomplished almost everything but not the championship. He played the initial years of his career in OKC with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
After that Harden had an amazing run at Houston Rockets where he won NBA MVP in 2018 while averaging league-high 30.4 points per game.
Later, the beard reunited with Kevin Durant at the Nets, but soon after he was paired with Embiid but lost to Miami Heat in the second round of playoffs. This season he is aiming for his first ring.
Harden’s upcoming season
The beard is ready to play the best years of his basketball career in Philly this year as he was spotted in the gym with the thinner version of him. He has put in the work to prove himself this year. Apparently, Harden also took a pay cut to improve the roster.
Harden has been healing from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for the entirety of the previous season. In the past, Harden has stated that after he overcomes his hamstring problems, he will be able to return to being a top-tier player.
In order for Joel Embiid and Philly to be a true championship-calibre team, James Harden needs to be greater of an offensive threat.
