Andre Iguodala made a bold statement regarding Rasheed Wallace being better than Giannis if he played in this era
Golden State Warriors star and 4-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala recently made a statement that shocked many people in the world.
He went on to say that Rasheed Wallace would have been a top-5 player in the league now, and he would have been better than Giannis Antetokounmpo. Many fans were ridiculed by this statement as they think Giannis is miles better than Wallace.
Iguodala said, “Rasheed Wallace probably could have been a top-five player in the league for a 10-year stretch. He was shooting half-court shots left-handed and right-handed.”
Andre Iguodala added, “If Rasheed Wallace played in modern-day basketball, if he played in our league today, he’d be a top-five player in the league. He’d be better than Giannis, and I love Giannis.”
Was Andre Iguodala right on this statement?
Rasheed Wallace is an NBA champion. He was a huge part of the Detroit Piston teams that won the championship in 2004. However, Giannis is on a different level.
The Greek Freak is on his way to becoming a top-10 or top-15 player when it’s all said and done. He has won almost every individual award in the league and is also an NBA champion.
Every year he is in the running for the MVP and DPOY awards, and that shows how great of a player he is. Maybe the 4x NBA champion Andre Iguodala missed a beat on this bold take.
