Giannis Antetokounmpo mocked Ben Simmons with a “too small” celebration after the Milwaukee Bucks scored in their latest game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Milwaukee Bucks registered their latest win of the new NBA regular season against the Brooklyn Nets. The Greek Freak has started the 2022/23 season in style, racking up two performances scoring in excess of 40 points already – the most by any player in the league. After racking up 44 points in 28 minutes against the Houston Rockets, Antetokounmpo breached the 40-point mark again against the Nets – with a particular highlight from his display being a play against Ben Simmons.

Antetokounmpo racked up 43 points in the 38 minutes he played, along with 14 rebounds and 5 assists – leading his team to their third successive win of the season. The Greek Freak was in incredible form all throughout the game, but it was one particular moment from the game that made all the headlines on social media – when Giannis went up against Ben Simmons.

What happened between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ben Simmons in the game?

Antetokounmpo and Simmons – who were trending together in the preseason as well – went up against each other once again.

The Bucks forward went up against the Nets guard in preseason where the former simply shrugged the latter off his heels and scored. The same situation was repeated in the fourth quarter of the game when the Bucks met the Nets again, and the outcome was the same once again – the indomitable Giannis shrugged Simmons aside with a dummy and scored on him yet again.

However, as Giannis tracked back and approached the halfway line, he came up with a “too small” celebration – crouching and pointing at the ground as if to say that Simmons was too small to be guarding him. The celebration went viral on social media in no time, as Giannis – not one particularly known for on the court banter – made quite the statement en route to a win.
