Giannis Antetokounmpo was trending on social media once again after he nailed down a three-pointer in the Milwaukee Bucks practice session wearing no shoes.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is in his own right, one of the best players in the world right now. The Greek-Nigerian NBA superstar is a franchise player for the Milwaukee Bucks, and is the key man for the Greek national team as well–the 28-year-old’s talent and physical ability where he combines size, speed and agility make him an incredibly scary opponent to go up against.
An NBA Championship winner with the Bucks and a two-time winner of the MVP award already, Antetokounmpo gave yet another example of his incredible talent with the latest footage from a training session with the Bucks. Fresh off playing in the Euro basket 2022 tournament for Greece where he was one of the best players, Giannis resumed usual proceedings in the NBA.
The latest footage of Giannis balling out featured him putting in the hours at the Bucks’ training facility, where he was shooting hoops by himself. In a clip posted by the Milwaukee Bucks’ Instagram account, Antetokounmpo was seen nailing down a three-pointer – but to his fans’ utter surprise, Giannis did it wearing no shoes – and only in his socks on the basketball floor.
In the post titled as “No shoes? No problem”, the sight of Giannis nailing down a three-pointer in his socks as if it meant nothing went viral on social media platforms, as the NBA community were talking about how the Greek Freak makes the game look way easier than it actually is.
What did the NBA community have to say about Giannis Antetokounmpo shooting without shoes?
The NBA community showered Giannis with high praise after watching the footage.
While one fan said “Already a legend in my hometown of Milwaukee”, replies like “Just like that”, “some 2k type thing”, “Now that’s a Greek shot”, “he didn’t even jump g*****n” and “Nah bro his form looking crispy tbh” also swarmed the comment section.
The Greek Freak certainly looks in great touch as the Milwaukee Bucks kick off their campaign against the Memphis Grizzlies on 2nd October.
