Giannis Antetokounmpo was rampant in the defeat of 76ers
The Milwaukee Bucks led by the reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo defeated their rivals Philadelphia 76ers by the score of 118-116, in a game in which stakes were quite high.
This was a very big matchup for the seeding in the Eastern Conference for the upcoming playoffs and this crucial win gives a big advantage to the Bucks over the 76ers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was once again the standout player in a big match just like he has been throughout the season, as he dropped 40 points while also recording 14 rebounds and 6 assists to help his team.
Giannis is among the frontrunners to the MVP award this season, and in this matchup, he showed Joel Embiid who really is the MVP as he outplayed him and led his team to the win.
The Bucks are again looking like the favorites to win the Championship this season because when healthy they are capable to beat any team in the league and Giannis has been absolutely unstoppable.
After this win, the Milwaukee Bucks are now 47-28 and are the 2nd seed in the East, as they hope to keep their momentum while heading into the playoffs.
James Harden put on a good show against the Milwaukee Bucks
The only thing positive for the Philadelphia 76ers to come out of this match against the Milwaukee Bucks was the performance of James Harden.
Harden, since his arrival in Philly, has struggled to play well in big matches but he certainly had a very good game against the Bucks in this big game at the top of the East.
James Harden dropped 32 points while also recording 9 assists and 6 rebounds but still was not able to help his team get the win, which would have been really upsetting for him.
Philadelphia 76ers will look to bounce back quickly from this defeat as playoffs are approaching fast and they have championship aspirations this season.
