Gilbert Arena makes huge claim on why Warriors let Draymond Green’s fight video out in the open

Before the 2022-23 season, probably the biggest story surrounding the Golden State Warriors was how Draymond Green flew in the air to punch his own teammate, Jordan Poole. While the entire NBA world criticized TMX for leaking the video and making the world be aware about the ugly spat inside a team, there is one former player who thinks that this job was done by an insider.

The spoken off person is Gilbert Arena, who himself is no stranger to locker room drama. One of his most popular talking points when one mentions Arena’s NBA career is when he was suspended in 2009 for the remaining games after he and Javaris Crittenton (his teammate) got an ugly altercation that reportedly involved a firearm.

On the same note Gilbert revealed what might’ve led to Draymond Green’s punching video might be leaked. Given that at the same time, his contract negotiations were being carried out, Arena made everyone aware of how internal politics and manipulations work in the biggest and grandest basketball league.

Gilbert Arena said in an interview with Vlad TV, “The Golden State Warriors are painting a picture. They have to justify why they won’t offer somebody a certain amount of money or a long-term deal. Jordan Poole is the new face coming up. Now, if the Warriors don’t re-sign Draymond Green, there is footage of why.”
