LeBron James didn’t shy away from coming to the defense of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson after a DC made a comment about him.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was recently criticized by an anonymous NFL defensive coordinator. He took shots at Lamar and made absurd comments about him.
LeBron James came into the defense of the Ravens’ quarterback. On his Instagram story, King James wrote about the defensive coordinator and said, “This coordinator either got fired or cursed the hell out after getting torched vs LJ!! Hating a$$”
In an article by The Athletic’s Mike Sando, the defensive coordinator was seen saying this about Lamar Jackson: “If he has to pass to win the game, they ain’t winning the game. He’s so unique as an athlete and he’s really a good football player, but I don’t (care) if he wins the league MVP 12 times, I don’t think he’ll ever be a 1 as a quarterback. He’ll be a 1 as a football player, but not as a quarterback.”
Along with LeBron James, many others also came out in defense of Lamar Jackson. They believe those comments were absurd, as Lamar is a great player, and many teams would want him on their team.
LeBron James gears up for a tough season ahead
With the way things are heading right now, it seems like the Los Angeles Lakers are about to run it back with Russell Westbrook. Last season was tough for the Lakers, but LeBron James played like an MVP.
He is already gearing up for the next season. LeBron is likely to continue his dominance again, but it will be up to his teammates to support him. As a result, another tricky season for the Lakers is upon us.
