Have the Nets’ side recorded the most points scored by a team in half?

Brooklyn Nets took their name into the news recently with their recent 91 points performance against the Golden State Warriors.

The Nets recorded their franchise’s highest-ever points scored in a half when they put up 91 points in the first half against Curry’s Warriors. This was the third highest ever 1st half points scored by a team in NBA history after Suns 107 points performance against Denver in 1990 and Golden States’ 92 points against the Chicago Bulls in the year 2018.

The warriors entered the game with all their three mainland players Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson on the bench which has been their team’s major blow, resulting in their 1-5 record on their East trip. Irvings was also not in the team’s line still their nine players managed to achieve double figures against the defending champions recording their seventh straight victory.

James Wiseman was the most outshined player for the Warriors who made up to his career-best scoring points of 30 against the Nets.

Once more the three-time Olympic gold medallist appeared to be the “Big Man” for the Nets with the highest points for them, however, the whole team’s performance was praised in the end. “It’s the Warriors,” Durant said. “You always respect them no matter who’s on the floor. They have a championship system and championship players.”

Durant and his team surely delivered a big present for their fans for Christmas this time, States’ coach mentioned  “They were phenomenal in the first half.” in the post-match interview.

“That’s what happens when you come to work and you’re ready to work from the beginning,” Net’s coach Vaugh mentioned regarding his team’s performance at the Barclays Center.
