Hawks star names LeBron James as his basketball GOAT

Published by

On Friday, when LeBron James had his mother and wife sitting courtside to cheer him up on his 38th birthday, the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t disappoint his loved ones. The 4-time NBA Champ not only dropped season-high 47 points to register a hard-fought win for the purple and gold franchise, but even uplifted his GOAT candidature.

The same was acknowledged by Atlanta Hawks center, Onyeka Okongwu, who heaped praise on LeBron James by deeming him the greatest of all-time as per Kevin Chouinard of Hawks.com.

“To me, he’s the greatest of all time,” Okongwu offered postgame on Friday. “Me and John being in foul trouble doesn’t help, either. He’s just a physical specimen going downhill. It’s so hard sometimes; you have to foul him. He’s a tough cover. We’ll see him again a week from today.”

Is LeBron James the true GOAT of NBA?

The debate for who is better amongst Michael Jordan and LeBron James is going to be a never-ending tail. But to know that this 38-year-old veteran is averaging more than 28 points per game even in his 20th season in the NBA, is just phenomenal. Perhaps there is no adjective made to describe his talent on the basketball court.
