Miami Heat veteran Bam Adebayo is giving his all to make sure his team doesn’t fall out of the playoffs contention in the 2022-23 season. However, fans are not acknowledging his effort enough as he was majorly snubbed in the 2023 All Star voting, but if you were to believe Bam, he just couldn’t care less about individual merits at the moment.
Miami Heat has been struggling big time to keep their players in full fitness and healthy as we have entered the second half of the 2022-23 season. Stars like Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are willingly not taking any rest with the aim of battling it out on the court to register as many wins as possible before the last week approaches.
Bam Adebayo is not among the Top 10 frontcourt players of the Eastern Conference in the latest All-Star voting returns. His teammate Jimmy Butler is on the list at no. 5, while other big men like Nic Claxton, Paolo Banchero, Julius Randle, and Kyle Kuzma got more votes than the Heat center. Why that might be the case? Adebayo surely is paying o attention to it as his goal is crystal clear this season.
“I’m gonna do what I do at the end of the day. I can’t pay attention to that, it’s only about winning,” Adebayo Said, per Wes Goldberg of The Ringer.
While the coming weeks remain to be seen if Bam gets the deserved respect yet the 25-year-old is averaging a double-double of 21.5 points and 10.1 rebounds on top of 3.1 assists per game. In the Heat’s most recent matchup against the Giannis Antetokounmpo less-Milwaukee Bucks, Adebayo displayed that all-around game as he finished with 20 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.
