Heat veteran Dewayne Dedmon gets ejected vs. OKC Thunder after getting into a heated altercation with Erik Spoelstra

Dewayne Dedmon was ejected from Miami Heat’s latest game against the Oklahoma City Thunder for a bizarre reason. We might all have flashbacks about the heated altercation in Heat’s dugout last season when Erik Spoelstra seemed to be wanting to get into a fistfight with Jimmy Butler. Well, those scenes have just been repeated on Tuesday Night.

After throwing his massage gun on the court, Spoelstra wasn’t much pleased with the veteran. So, he decided to confront him about it as the game was briefly paused. Rather than listening to his coach, Dewayne Dedmon got into involved in a heated altercation on the bench only for the refs to finally blow a whistle.

It doesn’t seem clear what the duo is talking about but surely it can’t be anything cordial as the ejected Dewayne Dedmon does look disappointed. So much so, he decided to launch a massage gun onto the court out of frustration. Perhaps indicating the mood in the Miami Heat dugout since the beginning of the 2022-23 season.

Spoelstra’s team was as it is shorthanded heading into this matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunders, and Dewayne Dedmon’s ejection has done any favors too. The Miami Heat veteran has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot for pretty much the entire season, and this has been one of the main reasons behind his lack of playing time for his team of late.
