Herb Jones College Car is still with him as he follows a simple lifestyle

The NBA players of today are known for signing record-breaking contracts on a regular basis, which has given them a reputation for occasionally spending extravagantly. Jones, though, is an exception to that rule. Herb Jones’ College Car is still a part of his lifestyle and he also wears free Pelicans gear.

Herb Jones has established himself as one of the NBA’s finest perimeter defenders in just his second season. He was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans in the second stage of the 2021 draft,  and he is already establishing himself as a crucial component of the team’s future.

Throughout this season, the 24-year-old has averaged 3.7 rebounds, 10.5 points, 1.3 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. In addition to his accomplishments on the court, Jones has drawn notice for his lifestyle off the court.

Herb Jones College: Herb Jones’ take on this

Jones recently discussed his strict spending restrictions in an interview with Marc Spears. Making ensuring his family is prepared for the future is vital to him. “I try to save, man. I’m not worried about what somebody would say about my appearance if my family is doing good or better than what they were…..I think long term for my kids.”

Jones is making every effort to prevent himself from joining their ranks. The fact that Herbert Jones was selected in the second round and is unsure of his future might contribute to some of this thinking. He shouldn’t stress over not receiving a second contract, though.

Herb Jones should be commended for his mentality in an era where athletes are earning more money than ever. He just thinks about his family and basketball at the end of the day even if that requires wearing free Pelicans gear and Herb Jones College Car.
