Victor Wembanyama is one of the most promising young basketball players in the world. He is a French basketball player with connections to the Congo. The Victor Wembanyama Congo connection is through his father. Victor’s father Felix Wembanyama is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Victor has represented France at the International level and has already played for the Junior team. The young star is currently playing for French team Metropolitans 92 in the LNB Pro A, the top-tier league in France.
Most scouts and analysts expect Victor Wembanyama to be the first pick in 2023 NBA Draft. The 18-year old basketball player is a 7’3 forward/center and has the skill to score from anywhere on the court.
