Here is everything you should know about – how much is the salary of Dennis Schroder in his new contract with the Lakers?
From being selected as the 13th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Dennis Schroder has made his way long into NBA now and is often compared to Rajon Ronda for his playing style and large hands.
Schroder will be continuing the 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, which has been the recent most highlighting news in NBA. After averaging 15.4 points and 5.8 assists per game in the 2020-21 season for the Lakers, Schroder was asked to renew his offer for prize money of $84 million, but he rejected it in search of a bigger contract which did not result in quality for him as he ran out of option and ended up with Boston Celtics for only $6 million.
Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly signing up the German professional who had currently a name connected to none of the NBA teams. Both the parties have cooperated to a deal of one year, signing Schroder for a salary of $2.64 million, comparatively very little for a player with experience of his level. Dennis however agreed to the deal, as there were no options left for him.
Dennis Schroder Previous Career
The point guard started his professional career with the SG Braunschweig team in 2010 in the German League. In the 2012-13 year he emerged as the League’s Most Improved Player along with being the Best Young German Player both in the same season.
Dennis made his way into the NBA in the year 2013 after being picked up by the Atlanta Hawks. He continued with the Hawk side till 2018 before he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a term year of two years. Later he played for the Lakers, Boston Celtics and in his previous team Houston Rockets.
