The video shows Giannis standing on the sidelines before joining the defensive drills for a few seconds. While doing the defensive drills Giannis and the kids were shouting the words I Love Defense.
Giannis is a fantastic defensive player and is a great example of what a true two-way player should be like. Enthusiastic on both offense and defense and taking great care to execute every defensive play perfectly.
He is one of the best defenders in the NBA and has been named to the All-Defensive Teams 5 times. He even took home the Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2019-20 NBA season.
Giannis is a competitor and fights for every play on the defensive end of the ball. He is a fantastic post defender but his quick feet and long arms allow him to guard on the perimeter as well.
