“I thought LeBron was sick and tired of him” – Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe comment on LeBron James reacting to Dennis Schroder wanting an LA return

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless debate on the whole Dennis Schroder to the Lakers thing after his interaction with LeBron James.

Recently LeBron James and Dennis Shroder had a mini convo on Schroder’s Instagram post. It looked Schroder might be on his way back to the Lakers.

Schroder played 1 season for the Los Angeles Lakers and denied signing a 4-year $80M contract to earn a bigger contract but it turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life. Since then he has been a journeyman, and no team is giving him that type of money. As a result, he might return to the Lakers.

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless talked about the convo between LeBron James and Dennis Schroder. Skip said, “I thought LeBron was sick and tired of him…” then Shannon cleared out and said LeBron is cool with everybody.

He said, “Bron ain’t got no enemies, Bron ain’t got no enemies that’s why I’m saying if you don’t like Bron you just a hater, Bron ain’t got no enemies…” Shannon believes that LeBron was just being cool with Dennis, and there is no indication about a move for Dennis yet.

Skip Bayless believes Dennis Schroder is a better fit alongside LeBron James than Russell Westbrook

Famous Sports Analyst Skip Bayless believes that Dennis Schroder is a better fit alongside LeBron James than Russell Westbrook. He thinks Schroder would be a better option for this Lakers team than Westbrook.

Skip said, “LeBron is the shrewdest of operators and I think he sees the force for the trees here and the forest could be what if they do send Russ home what if they just release him what if you need somebody on a veteran’s minimum to fill a little bit of that role I’m I’m here to tell you right now Dennis Schroder is better than Russell Westbrook.”

He added, “He would he would be more acceptable to LeBron he would fit better with LeBron and AD, he averaged 15 and six for the lakers what was it two years two years ago and in his career at Atlanta once at Oklahoma City once he averaged 19 and six that’s basically what he is.”

Bayless further talked about Schroder and said, “He’s pretty nifty he’s elected quick yeah he is he can do some things he’s very good in the pick-and-roll very good in the pick-and-roll so he’s he would be much more useful to LeBron a much better fit for LeBron than Russ would be so I think Lebron is making nice with him just because what if what if they need him…”

A move for Russell Westbrook away from the Lakers isn’t off the card yet. The season still is quite far away and anything can happen till then. The Lakers are interested in multiple players, and Westbrook is likely to be involved in all those deals.

Russell Westbrook recently parted ways with his long-term agent

After 11 years of working together, Russell Westbrook just ended his relationship with his agency. They had been together prior to Russ’s entry into the NBA.

Russ, however, believed that since he was at a new point in his career, it was the perfect moment to cut ties with his agent. He has changed from the Westbrook of his younger years, and like other players, his game has declined with age. Due to rumors that Kyrie Irving would join the Lakers, there has been speculation about his leaving the team.

The market for Westbrook is minimal. No team in the league is willing to take his massive contract, and they just want to trade for him to get the Lakers’ future picks, and use him as a salary dump.

This is why it has been tough for the Lakers to part ways with him. With the deal for Kyrie Irving gathering no pace, it looks like Westbrook will be staying with the Lakers for this season at least.
