The Indiana Pacers drafted Bennedict Mathurin with the 6th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, and he has a lot of confidence in himself.

New Indiana Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin was drafted at the 6th spot in the Draft. He played for Arizona in college and displayed that he is a great player.

Mathurin has immense confidence in himself and claims that he is the best player in the league. Even though his statements could come back to fire him, he doesn’t mind speaking what he thinks.

He even isn’t impressed with LeBron James, who is arguably the best player to ever play in the NBA. Talking about LeBron James, Mathurin said, A lot of people say he’s great, I want to see how great he is. I don’t think anybody is better than me. He’s going to have to show me he’s better than me.”

After his comments, people are excited to watch when the Los Angeles Lakers will face the Indiana Pacers next season. The rookie will get to witness the greatness of King James, and maybe LeBron will show what he is.

Bennedict Mathurin joins the Indiana Pacers rebuild era

The Indiana Pacers acquired Tyrese Haliburton from the Sacramento Kings last year. He is seen as the face of the franchise, and the squad is being built around him.

The Pacers also have Christian Duarte, who is a promising player and is likely to stay there for a long time alongside Haliburton. The inclusion of Bennedict Mathurin provides them with a wing player who can shoot well, and he will be the perfect fit alongside Haliburton, who is an excellent playmaker.
