Has Steph Curry any plans of getting retired as the NBA star is not playing?
Steph Curry is trying to cope with a completely new injury, and the Warriors legend is taking it easy when it comes to his recovery and that’s most probably the reason behind the netizens questioning ‘Is Steph Curry retired’. The 34-year-left old’s shoulder subluxed against the Indiana Pacers last week.
During Tuesday’s TNT broadcast of Golden State’s 132-94 defeat to the New York Knicks, Curry gave fans an update. Without Curry, the Warriors have lost two of their previous three games and are now on a 1-4 road trip.
“This is an interesting one just because I haven’t had an injury like this to the shoulder. So it’s kind of a wait-and-see approach. I’m still in the early healing process, so I’m nowhere near, even like, picking up a basketball yet…It’ll be a few weeks. I think into the New Year and I’ll start to key in on a timeline from there.” Curry stated.
Stephen Curry, the great player for the Golden State Warriors, has no plans to retire. When questioned about his NBA future at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year 2022, Curry said he is intending to play for a very long time.
With securing almost eight All-Star selections, four NBA Championships, two NBA MVP Awards, two scoring crowns, and one NBA Finals MVP Award already on his records, the 34-year-old Curry can already claim to have a Hall of Fame career.
Curry led the Dubs to their fourth title in eight years last year, helping them recover from two straight seasons without making the playoffs. Curry earned the NBA All-Star Game MVP Award and was also voted as the NBA Finals MVP for the first time.
