NFL Hall of Famer compared the performance of LeBron James in Drew League to quarterback Tom Brady.
LeBron James took part in a Drew League game for the first time since 2011. Many fans turned in to watch King James taking the stage in the offseason.
He didn’t disappoint anyone. LeBron ended up scoring 42 points and completely dominated the game. He also had 16 rebounds, and 4 steals as well. This was a good outing for LeBron, who has been working hard in the offseason.
After his brilliant performance, NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe had some words to say about King James. He compared him to Tom Brady, as despite getting older he has continued to dominate the game.
Shannon Sharpe said, “I love what I saw from LeBron, I’m not going to talk about the 42-16 or whatever else he had, I just like what I saw from the athleticism is still there um the desire the passion for the game of basketball is still there um it’s kind of like Brady you know”
He added, “People like with Brady Brady should retire the man still has a burning desire to go out there and compete put the work in and be great and LeBron James still have that same burning desire passion to put the work in and to be great I love what I saw I didn’t like it I love what I saw.”
LeBron James has a mountain to climb in the upcoming season
The Los Angeles Lakers as currently constructed are very far away from contending for the championship. If a move for Kyrie Irving doesn’t go through then problems will be similar to what they had last year.
LeBron James played like one of the best players in the world last season. If his team had a better record he might have won the MVP award as well. Next season again he’ll be asked to step up and lead his team from the front. The Lakers will hope that the trio of Bron-AD-Rus works, or else it will be a bad look for them.
