Draymond Green had nothing but words of praise for LeBron James after his great outing in the Drew League.
LeBron James recently played in the Drew League and had a great performance. Some people found a way to criticize him after that performance and called it a PR move.
However, one of LeBron’s biggest supporters Draymond Green had something else to say. He believed LeBron James playing in the Drew League was a very good thing as he could showcase his greatness in front of the people who didn’t see it earlier.
Green said, “It was one of the most incredible basketball games that I’ve ever been to. … If you were in there, you just felt it. It was different. It was big,” He added, “Bron going to play in the Drew League, like, that’s monumental,” Green said. “LeBron James does not have to go play in the Drew League. That’s insane. He’s in year 20 by the way. Still going to play in the Drew League. I thought that was absolutely incredible.”
The 4-time NBA Champ Draymond further added, “Let’s talk about what LeBron James’ appearance did for these young African American kids that were there. … For us, growing up in the neighborhood, you think LeBron Jameses are a surreal thing because there’s no way to touch LeBron James,”
For the first time since 2011, LeBron James participated in a Drew League game. In the offseason, King James took the stage in front of a large audience.
