Immanuel Quickley raises concern over increasing Covid-19 cases

It started looking like the world has finally moved past the Covid-19 pandemic, however, it seems to be everything but that. The most recent Covid-19 variant ‘Omricon’ has been spreading rapidly. New York Knicks NBA player Immanuel Quickley recently raised concerns over the increased number of Covid-19 cases while making a hilarious remark.

After securing a win for his team against the Houston Rockets, Quickley was asked about the pandemic in a post-game interview where he said (h/t:CBS New York):

“It’s definitely crazy right now. I’ve been showering with my mask on.”

The situation is most certainly turning in for the worse. The sporting events which recently opened it’s doors to welcome the spectators back are faced with a big question mark about how to maintain the health and safety of everyone involved.
