Tuesday night’s 143-141 overtime victory for the Golden State Warriors over the Atlanta Hawks included a play by the seasoned teammates that stunned the crowd. On Twitter, several responded to the odd pass between Draymond Green and Klay Thompson by suggesting that the camera angle could have prevented it from being recorded.

Although there are many intriguing hypotheses about how the pass was executed, it’s possible that the angle at which Klay Thompson’s body was positioned to block the camera’s view of Draymond Green’s pass is the most likely explanation. Another camera perspective would probably confirm the notion if it were to appear.

On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks engaged in an exciting double-overtime match. Warriors centre Kevon Looney beat the buzzer with a tip-in to clinch Golden State a 143-141 victory as the game came down to the last play.

While Looney made the game-winning move, Klay Thompson was the night’s top performer. Thompson scored 54 points, which ranks second in his career. It was also his first 50-point performance after missing more than two seasons due to an achilles and ACL tear, respectively. Thompson made 2-2 free throws, 10-21 3-pointers, and 21-39 field goals overall.
