Jalen Rose blasts Paul Pierce for claiming to be better than Heat legend Dwayne Wade

Published by

When Dwayne Wade led the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference, Paul Pierce led Boston Celtics were considered to be one of the toughest conference matchups for the former side. Being in an era that saw the greatest-ever legends produced in the league, Pierce vs Wade was one of the most looked-after rivalries.

Paul Pierce and Dwayne Wade

While Dwayne Wade managed to win 3 championships with the Miami Heat, Pierce was only able to win one. However, even after a decade of their rivalry being at its peak, Paul Pierce did not hold back from placing himself better than Wade on multiple frontiers.

For Pierce’s bad luck, Jalen Rose was in no mood to accept the lies thrown by the Boston Celtics legend as he viciously slammed him on Live TV.

Was Dwayne Wade better than Paul Pierce?

Jalen Rose said, “He’s (Dwayne Wade) made All-NBA First Team twice, Paul hasn’t done it. He made All-NBA 8 times to your 4, he made an All-Defensive team 3 times to your 0, he won 1 scoring title, you weren’t able to win a scoring title, and he has 3 rings while you only have 1.”
