James Harden might have found it tough to stamp his authority with the Philadelphia 76ers yet it feels like the 2022-23 season was just made for it to happen. Having already led the team in Joel Embiid’s absence, the Beard has simply taken over with his returning partner-in-crime.

As Joel Embiid returned on Tuesday Night from his respective injury to feature in the contest against the Detroit Pistons, he seemed unstoppable. Much credit goes to James Harden who has found better ways of synchronizing with Embiid on the court.

An interesting fact from the 76ers vs Pistons is that when James Harden recorded his 15th assist of the game, he already had a dozen of those to Joel Embiid, which was a personal best for the former MVP as per ESPN Stats & Info.
