NFL Hall of Famer believes James Harden didn’t want to play with Kevin Durant, and it is why he left Brooklyn for the 76ers.
When James Harden decided to leave the Brooklyn Nets in order to join the Philadelphia 76ers, many people criticized him. He was seen as a quitter, as he forced his way out twice in two seasons.
However, after seeing what is going on in Brooklyn now, it seems like Harden made the right decision. James Harden currently finds himself in a good situation to win the championship, whereas the Nets are about to blow up everything.
Recently, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless, on their show Undisputed, talked about the situation at the Nets. Shannon Sharpe believes that Harden didn’t want to play with Kevin Durant, and that is why he left.
Sharpe said, “When somebody wants out with LeBron James you all LeBron he can’t play with LeBron, James Harden did not want to play with Kevin Durant…” On the other hand, Skip Bayless believes that Harden left because he didn’t want to play with Kyrie Irving.
No matter why James Harden really left, his decision was right. He saw what was coming ahead, and got out of the car quickly before everything was about to be blown up.
James Harden is fully focussed on winning a championship
Harden is absolutely locked in to win the championship with the 76ers. He even took a pay cut in order to enable his team to get the players required to make a run toward the championship.
Even though he is already a first-ballot Hall of Famer, Harden still wants to become an NBA champion. That’s the only big thing missing on his resume, and he would love to win it to cement himself as an all-time great and prove why the Brooklyn Nets weren’t a good option for him.
