Utah Jazz saw their big man Lauri Markkanen register his best performance for them as he dropped 28 points in a lost cause against the Sacramento Kings. In a 117-115 loss in Salt Lake City, basketball fanatics in Utah hailed Lauri until the refs waived off his heroics.

With just 0.4 seconds on the clock, the Utah Jazz trailed by 2 points with no timeouts left. This is just when Lauri Markkanen decided to launch himself up the floor, and Jarred Vanderbilt did not disappoint him. The latter found Lauri via a full-court inbound pass with the hope of witnessing a miracle.

Markkanen had already dropped a team-high 28 points and was destined to pull off the unthinkable, knocking down a stellar shot to snap their current four-game losing streak. As the team celebrated, the game ref went over to review the shot and eventually waved it off as the ball was just in contact with the concerned player.
