Jimmy Butler continued his excellent run of form in the playoffs with another dominant performance in the game 1 against the Celtics.
The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs by a score of 118-107. They kept their home court intact, and will hope to do the same in the 2nd game of the series to go 2-0 up.
Jimmy Butler continued his excellent run of form in the playoffs, as he scored 41 points, while also contributing with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. He has transformed into a superstar during these playoffs, and is getting his flowers from everyone around the world.
Last year Butler had a terrible series in the 1st round against the Bucks, which is why the Heat got swept. However, this time around he has regained his form of 2020 playoffs. He is absolutely locked in to bring a championship back to Miami.
His teammates have been supporting him quite well, and everyone is making valuable plays throughout the game. As a result, Miami has been one of the best teams in the NBA this season.
The duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown continued to impress. They dropped 29 and 24 points respectively, but it was not enough to get the win.
The Celtics were missing Marcus Smart and Al Horford, both of whom are very important players of their team and play a huge part on their defense.
However, the Celtics will get them back soon, and they will hope to get a game at Miami’s home court, which will put them in the front seat to win the Eastern Conference and qualify for the NBA Finals.
