Published by

Joel Embiid has been sidelined for the Philadelphia 76ers for some time as the team is showing no signs of slowing down. The Eastern Conference giants have won four of their last five games as their marquee big man has been sitting out for the past 3 games due to a lingering foot injury. So, will the Sixers be without him in their next contest against the Detroit Pistons?

The 28-year-old is most likely to sit out in the mentioned game as the Sixers are going to take no unnecessary steps in hurrying Joel Embiid onto the court. As per ClutchPoints’ Sixers beat writer Sam DiGiovanni, Joel Embiid hasn’t recovered in time from the soreness in his left foot, and his chances of suiting up for Tuesday’s matchup, against the unpredictable Pistons, aren’t very good at the moment.

However, the interesting point is that Philadelphia 76ers have only listed Embiid as questionable. So, there is no guarantee that the Cameroonian big man will not feature in the contest but an official word is being awaited as of writing.
