Joel Embiid continues to push his name for the MVP convo after another great performance against the Cavs
The Philadelphia 76ers have qualified for the playoffs following their victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers where they edged out a very close game by a score of 112-108 in which Joel Embiid was the start of the show.
Joel Embiid scored 44 points while also having 17 rebounds and completely dominated the game against an injury-depleted Cavs team who had no answer for Embiid’s brilliance.
Embiid continues to push his narrative for the MVP Award as He, Jokic, and Giannis are the current frontrunners to win the award this season and it will be very hard to decide the winner because all of them have been absolutely sensational this season.
James Harden also had a decent game against the Cavs as he recorded a triple-double which is a good sign for the team from Philadelphia. After this win, the 76ers are now 48-30 and are the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference, as their focus shifts onto the playoffs which are almost upon us.
Darius Garland continues to shine without his supporting cast
Darius Garland has been one of the sensations of this season as he has elevated his game to the next level and has heaped praises from everyone around the league which helped him to make his first all-star team selection as well.
Missing Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen due to injuries have been hurting the Cavs chances to make the playoffs as well but that hasn’t stopped ‘DG the PG’ to continue showing his excellence to the rest of the world.
In a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Darius Garland was the best player on his team as he scored 23 points where he knocked down 3 three-pointers as well but they weren’t enough to help his team to over the line because the 76ers had a better and healthier squad than them.
