Iman Shumpert joined forces with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving is the most unexpected manner. Being drafted by the New York Knicks in 2011, Iman started his career in the league alongside stars like Carmelo Anthony. However, in 2015 he and JR Smith found themselves to be traded away to Cleveland in a 3-team deal.

This is just where Shumpert got to know about the legend of LeBron James. In an interview with Vlad TV, the former Knicks player revealed the surreal feeling of sharing the court with Bron. Moreover, the former star stressed on how dominant King James is on the court.

Shumpert said, “There’s times that he’d (LeBron James) be in the game and he’ll be like, he don’t mean to do it, but he’ll be like, ‘J.R. hand.’ and he’ll just throw it to the hand, snatch it, palm it, then he’ll be in a post-up like, ‘Shump if he move, cut right behind him if he move.’ And he’ll start to dribble, ‘Tristan (Thompson), cut, take him with you.’ and everything he is saying, you just watch it happen and the moment that man flinch, I’ll sprint behind it, catch (and) dunk.”

Iman Shumpert hails LeBron James’ basketball acumen

LeBron James has survived 20 years in the league. Perhaps this is not the right statement, LeBron has dominated the league for two decades now, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Given that he is 37 years old, he is still expected to lead his depleted Lakers side to the playoffs.
