The No. 4 overall Draft pick Keegan Murray is balling out in the Summer League and is proving all his doubters wrong.
It seems like the Sacramento Kings made a great decision in drafting Keegan Murray over Jaden Ivey in the 2022 NBA Draft. Murray fits perfectly in their team while the inclusion of Ivey would have created problems, as they are already many guards in their team.
Keegan has impressed everyone so far with his outings in the summer league. He has almost dominated every game that he has played so far, and his team is also winning games. The Sacramento Kings are the defending champions of the summer league, and they are again in a good position to win.
They recently faced the talented Indiana Pacers but got the better of them also. Keegan Murray led the charge for the Kings as he scored 23 points, and dominated the entire game.
Last season the Sacramento Kings traded away Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield and got Domantas Sabonis. Tyrese was a fan favorite, but this move made sense for the Kings. They had too many talented guards and had no depth in their frontcourt.
Now the Kings can pair up Sabonis with Keegan Murray. Both of them are big, and versatile forwards who can stretch the floor. As a result, the addition of Keegan Murray has improved the Kings roster a lot, and they finally have some hope going forward.
