Bronny James could undoubtedly be the most criticized player to play to enter the NBA in the coming years as he will always have the pressure of being compared with his father, LeBron, who could potentially end his career as the greatest player of all time. The same was acknowledged by Kendrick Perkins.
Moreover, the 2008 NBA Champion turned analyst applauded Lebron James to raise his kids in a time where he is constantly criticized game after game. Not only Bron, but Perkins even heaped praise on Savannah for raising a fearless Bronny.
Perkins said, “Let’s applaud LeBron James as a father. And let’s applaud Savannah and the rest of their family for how they’re handling this situation when it comes down to Bronny….cause people don’t realize the pressure that comes from being an NBA player’s son on the floor. People couldn’t even imagine.”
The 2008 NBA Champ added, “We’re talking about LeBron James and Bronny being on ESPN, packing out games. Just as many fans are coming to watch him play, you have the haters that have come to watch him fail. So, just watching him right now and watching how he’s conducting himself and how LeBron is handling this whole situation, it is a beautiful thing to see.”
For those who are not aware, Bronny is one of the most athletic and versatile young players in the country. He might not have caught the same spark as LeBron but there are some years for him to learn and what better tutor than LeBron?
