“He Is Playing Chess, Not Checkers” – Kendrick Perkins Has Interesting Take on Giannis Antetokounmpo Wanting to Possibly Play for the Chicago Bulls

The Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo might play for Chicago Bulls in the future based on his remarks in a recent interview.

NBA Champion and superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo recently analyzed his chances of playing for the Chicago Bulls. Meanwhile, Leaving it for the future, the Greek Freak has no intentions of leaving the Bucks yet.

Furthermore, based on the interview 2008 NBA champion with the Celtics stated that “I want to acknowledge Giannis and how intelligent he is, although I don’t like some of those corny dad jokes he does, outside of that, Giannis is a very very intelligent on how he go about things”. 

Kendrick Perkins made these remarks during a show, NBA on ESPN where he was joined by Matt Barnes. Notably, Kendrick is a big fan of the intelligence of the Bucks’ key player and former MVP, but not a huge fan of his sense of humor.

Perk thinks that he will not be surprised if Antetokoumpo retires in the Buck jersey, but there is a possibility of him joining the Bulls of Chicago. Kendrick added, “He moves the needle of the court and what he’s doing is, Hey, Imma hold Milwaukee Bucks feet to the fire every single year to make sure they put the pieces around me to able to compete for a championship. I honestly believe Giannis is going to retire in a Bucks uniform, but what he’s doing is, he is playing chess not checkers and I applaud him for that.”

Does Giannis have a future with the Bucks?

Giannis has four years left on his contract with a whopping 190 million USD contract, including a player option where he can opt for a free agent in 2025 for almost 52 million USD.

The Greek Freak has no plans to leave and it is visible in his actions. With Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday in the team, the Bucks are aiming big.
