Kevin Durant added yet another instance to an ever growing list of Twitter altercations as he staked his claim that he is a legend, and it is only his opinion that matters.
Kevin Durant is widely regarded as one of the best players in the game right now. While the Brooklyn Nets man is often considered to be one of the greats of his time – his career accolades of two NBA Championships and two MVP awards certainly help his case – his stake as an all-time legend of the NBA is often thrown under the carpet.
KD does not like that. The outspoken Durant has made his opinion clear plenty of times before that he considers himself as a legend, and one of the greatest NBA players of all time. Durant – who is notorious for responding to his detractors on social media – did his routine once again after yet another conversation about whether or not KD deserves all time legend status went viral on Twitter.
It all started from a debate on a podcast where it was being argued whether Durant deserves the pedestal of being an all time legend of the NBA. While the video of the debate went viral with fans tagging KD for his thoughts on it, KD himself gave his two cents as he replied “Can’t ask mediocre people about legendary activities” – a tweet that invited further replies on it.
So when a fan replied by saying “KD with all due respect they’re right you can deflect all you want but it’s just facts lol”, KD came up with yet another Twitter Hall of Fame reply.
What did KD have to say as a reply to the fan?
KD channeled his Twitter Hall of Fame best as he came up with another reply for the ages.
Replying to the fan who said that the notion of KD not being an all time legend is right, KD wrote: “If I think ima legend. Ima legend. It’s really that simple lol.”
The reply struck the nail of his claims of being an all time legend home, and in all honesty, with a career and ability like KD’s – he surely does have an argument for being an all timer. KD will hope to cement that argument with a successful NBA campaign for the Nets this season.
