Kevin Durant has gone all in on everyone in his latest interview with Bleacher Report, as he put on a rant about the lack of support for him at the Brooklyn Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets have not had the best of starts to their season. While the Kevin Durant trade request saga bothered them in the preseason and the Kyrie Irving anti-Semitism controversy plagued their season after it began, the Nets also had to part ways with head coach Steve Nash – but it has not exactly worked out for the franchise as they keep losing games this season.
The Nets’ most recent loss came in a blowout defeat to the Sacramento Kings, as they lost 153-121 on the road at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Tuesday. Despite Kevin Durant’s best efforts as he scored 27 points, it all ended in a losing cause as the struggling Nets lost their ninth game of the season out of 15 games – and prompted their talisman to go on a viral rant.
Durant went in on just about everybody in his latest interview following the defeat, as he ripped into his Nets teammates for the lack of support as well as the NBA community for expecting big things from the Nets just because of KD’s presence on the roster. The quotes from the interview are trending on social media, in one of which he brought up Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving.
Durant brought up his former teammate Steph Curry and his currently suspended teammate Kyrie Irving in his comments from his latest interview.
After going in on his teammates, Durant spoke about how he brings his best to the table when playing along some of the best players of the modern generation in the NBA. “Being able to play with Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry and Kyrie and still be me…I can play with anybody, anywhere, at any time, and you know I’m going bring it every day. That should be my legacy.”
Durant is right in his own way as while he helped the Oklahoma City Thunder to the finals alongside Westbrook, he won the title twice with Curry and strikes up quite a decent partnership with Irving for the Nets.
