Kevin Durant gets praised for his performance despite even just scoring 12 points against the Raptors
The two-time NBA Champion has been in a tremendous performance, leading his team to many victories this season.
Brooklyn Nets are currently standing 5th in the Atlantic Division and 10th in the Eastern Conference. Leaving two matches aside that are against Philadelphia and Toronto, Durant has been the top-scorer for the side each time. Not only this he has also grabbed at least 25 points in each of those games.
Nets Coach Jacque Vaughn recently stood up for Durant for his performance against the Raptors, despite him managing just 12 points in the game mentioning “Felt Totally Great”. He further mentioned “It was great to see him in the locker room excited that multiple people were in double-digits. He always says ‘that’s team basketball right there”
Kevin Durant This Season
The 2008 NBA Rookie Of The Year recently tied with Michael Jordan for scoring 25 points consecutively for 16 games in a season which just defines the type of performance he is giving to the Nets this season and his form. His game against New York Knicks recorded the season’s rebounds and assist highs with his 29 points performance which included 12 assists and rebounds.
This is not the first record that the 3 times Olympics Gold Medallist achieved this year, beside it, he first passed Alex English to become the 20th all-time highest points scorer in NBA when he scored 37 points in a victory against Memphis Grizzlies and then soon took over Vince Carter becoming the 19th highest all-time scorer in the league’s history.
He has no doubt been one of the most successful players for the Nets this season, also he scored 25 points in each of his first seven games of the season, the most in Franchise history.
