Kevin Durant has shared that he has no problem with a recently surfaced video of 3rd graders taunting and mocking basketball opponents on court.
Kevin Durant is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of our generation and is known for his incredible jump, his wingspan as well as his shooting ability. The Brooklyn Nets superstar has enjoyed a decorated career in the NBA since being drafted, having won two Championships as well as an MVP award – and is known for quite a lot of things off the court as well.
Durant is known for his personality off the court and his tendency to voice his feelings on social media. The Nets superstar is known for being one of the most active current basketball players when it comes to social media, and he gave yet another example of his tendency to voice his feelings on social media after he commented on a video that recently went viral on Twitter.
A video of 3rd graders playing against each other on a basketball court recently went viral, as it was seen that the kids were taunting and mocking their opponents on the court – in a very similar fashion to professionals in the NBA. The kids were seen flexing on their opponents after a dunk or a bucket, and many criticized the demeanor of the kids – however, Kevin Durant did not.
The Nets star took to his Twitter to say that he does not find anything wrong with the kids’ behaviour – as he could relate to imitating professionals in his childhood days too.
Durant took to his Twitter as he quoted the tweet of the video by saying that he does not find anything wrong with the kids as he imitated the demeanour of professionals as well when he was a kid. Durant wrote: “As a kid, I remember, we did what we saw the pros do…good s**t lil homies”, as plenty of people agreed with Durant’s standpoint after he voiced his opinion.
The two-time champion is never shy to voice his opinion even if it’s against the general consensus, and he put forward yet another example of that.
