Kevin Durant came up big against the Miami Heat
The Brooklyn Nets led by Kevin Durant defeated the former No. 1 seed in the East- Miami Heat by the score of 110-95.
This was a very big win for the Brooklyn Nets as their surge for the playoffs continues and taking down the best team in the East will boost their confidence a lot.
Kevin Durant led the way for the Nets as he scored 23 points in what was a fairly low-scoring game for both teams. Kyrie Irving and Seth Curry also contributed for the Nets with 11 and 17 points respectively which were enough to get the job done for them.
After this win, The Brooklyn Nets are now 39-35 and are still the 8th seed in the East. As it currently stands, the Nets will need to go through the play-in tournament to make it to the playoffs this year as they have championship aspirations.
The Nets will face the Charlotte Hornets in their next match which will be played tomorrow as they will look to continue this good run of form to end the regular season on high.
Miami Heat suffer another loss after a shocking week!
The Miami Heat have now lost their 4th straight game which has come as a shock for everyone because they were in complete command of the 1st seed in the East.
After this loss against the Nets, the Heat are now the 2nd seed in the East and this past week has completely ruined all their momentum which they had for such a long time.
The team as a whole is struggling to score, as they were able to just score 95 points against this Brooklyn team whose defense is one of the worst defenses in the league.
These are worrying signs for the Miami Heat and they will surely look to bounce back from this slump quickly as playoffs are almost upon us.
